As a seasoned government affairs professional with experience at the state and local levels, Matt Herndon utilizes his knowledge and policy analysis skills to serve a diverse portfolio of clients. Matt’s primary role on Team RSA is supporting nonprofits with their work on policy issues, including affordable housing, early childhood education, and disaster preparation and response. Before joining RSA Consulting, Matt served as a legislative staffer in the Florida House of Representatives for nearly a decade. In the House, he worked in a variety of policy areas and helped secure millions of dollars in funding for the Tampa Bay area. Matt graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor's in Biology and from the University of Central Florida with his Master’s in Public Administration.
