MELODY ARNOLD
Director of Government and Community Affairs
Melody Arnold is an experienced lobbyist and advocate with expertise in health care policy. She has been at the forefront of regulatory reform in the health care space for numerous years, successfully initiating change that has expanded access to quality care and bridged new workforce pathways. Most recently, Melody secured major Medicaid increases and project funding for individual client projects.
With more than ten years of experience in the political process, Melody has represented numerous clients before the Florida Legislature and a broad range of state agencies. Before joining RSA, Melody spent seven years working for the Florida Health Care Association as the Associate Director of Government Affairs. She represented more than 500 long-term care facilities, facilitating FHCA’s advocacy, member relations, and political fundraising initiatives.
Before joining FHCA, Melody was a regional representative in the Executive Office of then-Governor Rick Scott, and before that, served in various roles at the Republican Party of Florida. Melody received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Hospitality from Florida State University.
